You can purchase an Earth Machine Composter for $45.50 (payable by check only) at the Mid-County Mini Transfer & Recycling Station at 19675 Kenilworth Boulevard, Port Charlotte Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm.

Adding compost can:

• Increase the water holding capacity of soil.

• Help loosen compacted soils.
